Hey there! Before I start let me tell you that this is not a sponsored post. I just wanted to share my thoughts and experience during our stay in Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort. It is not really part of my plan to post a blog about this and I don’t really do staycation blogs, but two of my friends are encouraging me to post more photos and write about it. So here I am sharing some overdue thoughts to you my dear readers.
We stayed at Intercontinental Hua Hin for 4 days and 3 nights last September 2018. It is less than 3 hours away from Bangkok by car. You can look up the web for different tips on how to get to Hua Hin by public transportation. We rented a car at Hertz to make our trip more convenient.
We tried to get a room at the Beach Wing but unfortunately, all rooms are fully booked. After everything is settled in the front desk, we were escorted to the Bluport wing by their shuttle service. The Bluport Wing is located opposite side of the existing resort and can be accessed by an overhead bridge.
We got the King Superior room. I was pretty excited to check out our room. It is a modern colonial style with a spacious bedroom, powder room and comfort room. It felt like I don’t want to leave the room and just soak in the tub, drink a nice glass of wine, indulge myself in while looking at the beautiful view of the sky.
It is also a good thing that we got a room at the Bluport Wing because it feels more exclusive and it is accessible to the Bluport mall. By the way, if you’re planning to save up more on meals, there are plenty of food choices at the mall.
There are plenty of dining concepts located upon the entrance of the Beach Wing. A lot of sun-beds in the area and a wide swimming pool that extends all the way to the beach. It is truly a serene and peaceful resort.
If you want to experience high-quality 5 star service everytime you travel, I recommend you to check out Club Intercontinental membership or IHG membership. You can get exclusive discounts, freebies and be updated on their latest promos. One of the perks we truly enjoyed is the free entrance at the Vana Nava Waterpark. The perks is only exclusive for hotel members.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and if ever we’re going back to Hua Hin, I would love to stay here again.
Hua Hin is the perfect place if you want a more relaxing and peaceful beach vibe. That’s why it is more popular for family travelers. Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort is one of the top traveler’s choice, as they continue to deliver luxurious service to their guests.
