Traveling more and exploring my own country is in my bucketlist. Boracay is actually the island that I really wanted to visit in the Philippines due to it’s popularity to tons of foreigners and because of it’s timeless beauty. It is known as one of the most beautiful island in the world. It is famous for it’s powdery white sand, picturesque sunset, coruscating sea and vivid night life. I was filled with excitement to hop on a plane, feel the Boracay’s fine white sand and swim in the crystal clear water of the island. We took the 45 minutes flight from Manila – Kalibo. Then we ride a van going to the Caticlan Jetty Port. From there, we took a 15 min ferry boat ride to Boracay. And lastly, we took a tricycle ride going to our hotel. We stayed at Bluewaves Westcliff Villa, Station 1, Balabag Beach. It is located in the hilltop and just minutes away from the front beach. I really like the place most especially the modernized room interior. I will be posting a separate blog regarding our accommodation. On our first night, we chilled at Pats Creek Bar, drink some cocktails and took some shots. We maximized our stay in the island and engaged into fun and awesome activities! Hours before we leave the island, we decided to rent a mountain bike and went further from Station 3 to almost the very end of Station 1. We discovered a great view, overlooking the stretch from Station 1 to 3 and the stunning seascape. Some people were going there to take pictures and explore the island too. I am inlove with this island and would love to go back here. I’d like to do more activities, explore and indulge over and over in this paradise.
An awesome painting-like shot at night.
